I realize now why I quit keeping a journal of everything I eat. I am a total snack hound. I started keeping track yesterday and am surprised at all the snacking I did. I know I didn’t write down EVERYTHING. My eating habits have digressed into the pool of poor eating. It happened so slowly. It’s like that old saying..you can’t see the forrest through the trees. I didn’t realize I had gotten so bad.

Today, it’s starting out differently. I had my cup of green tea and a bowl of Quaker Oatmeal (not instant). I tossed out my spice drops and M+M’s. My snacking today is going to be sugar free jello.

It’s been raining and we couldn’t cut any grass this morning. I’ve got my volunteer work from 11-2. I’m hoping it clears off after that. We have another new lawn customer who only lifes a block from our home. I would like to get her lawn done today. We are finally caught up and I’d like to keep it that way.

I’ve decided I’m going to set weekly goals for myself. I need to set realistic goals. This weight loss is important to me. I have to quit procrastinating. I’ll be working on them the next few days. I’ll share them when I’m done.

Suggestions anyone?
