Weight loss….10,000 steps a day

There is a non-profit group called Shape Up America. Their mission statement is to provide people with a solid scientific information on weight management. There are some studies that suggest walking 10,000 steps a day is necessary for weight management. It was interesting to read that the average person walks only between 600-3000 steps a day.

I still need to buy myself a pedometer. Perhaps Santa is going bring me one.
