WEEK 2 — WEIGH IN
I forgot to weigh myself before I ate breakfast. I was kicking myself before I got on the scale..already making excuses for myself if I hadn’t lost any weight. YIPPEE…I’m down 2 more pounds.
I know 4 pounds in two weeks doesn’t seem like much. I just keep reminding myself, I didn’t gain it all in two weeks. I’ll just keep plodding along.
Last night I got a call from a girlfriend (she is 69), she has just gone through her orientation at the excercise program and the hospital. She is excited about getting into shape. She had that gastro by-pass surgery done 5 years ago and really lost a lot of weight. It just goes to show, even after losing weight….how important it is to continue to exercise to keep or improve body/muscle tone.
