Top Five Ways to Feel Full and Eat Less
I was reading an article by Eric Sabo in Healthology. He listed five ways to fell full while eating less. They are:
- Super-size filling foods (fruits and vegtables)
- Eat your protein
- Limit fatty foods, can the soda
- Snack “Smart”
- Eat until you are hara hachi bu (meaning until you are 80% full)
I know I need to eat more fruit. I buy it every week. It never fails, when I go to clean out the refrigerator, 90% of what I’m throwing out is old fruit. I had to throw out strawberries and blueberries and raspberries this week.
I’m finding it is easier to drink water than it is to eat fruit.
