I have forgotten to take my blood pressure pill and water pill for the last 3 days. When I got on the scale this morning, I had gained almost 4 pounds. It has to be the water retention. I just never realized I retained that much so quickly. I can tell by the way the elastic in my socks leaves an indentation on my ankles.
I use to put my meds out every night so I’d remember to take them in the morning. I’m not sure how I got away from it…but I can see I’m going to have to get back in sync.
Since I’ve retired, my system of doing things has gone out the window. It is just so much easier to procrastinate. I even lose track on which day of the week it is. I think I need to go back to work. Perhaps I’ll rethink that last statement. hmmmm

Journaling helps me maybe you can journal your medication and water and give yourself a small prize every month.
Hey Chris. Remembering your meds is so important. Now imagine if you take them all week and keep your water intake high, that weight loss will be brilliant by the end of the week
Hope you have a lovely week
I never thought about tracking my meds in my journal. Such a great idea. I haven’t been tracking for some time. I think it’s because of my poor habits. I subconsciously don’t want to be able to read it in black in white.
I just gulped down two glasses of water after reading your post M. I’m gonna give it a shot this week and see how it works. Gonna follow ip’s advice and journalize as well. Doing the two should make for a positive week. Thanks girls!!! I’m off to cut some grass with the hubby.
