Speed Building
My husband designed our new garage(25 X 30). The carpenters (5 men) started the project 3 days ago. I’m totally stunned. The walls are up and enclosed, they installed two doors and the windows today and built the staircase for the little apt. that is going to be above the garage. They are just about ready to start on the shingles.
We made lunch for the crew today. My husband grilled top sirlion burgers on the grill. I made coleslaw and baked beans. Today was also my first attempt at southern cooking. I made sweet potato pie. I made one with and one without pecans. I got a thumbs up from the crew on my pie. I was glad they were edible since I didn’t have a backup dessert.
Mom and I were so busy getting thing ready, we didn’t eat lunch. We just weren’t hungry. I know, I know, when you are trying to lose weight, you’re not suppose to skip meals. I’m my own worst enemy when it comes to my weight loss journey. I made sure I ate at 4 pm and was careful not to overcompensate for skipping lunch.

I think when you are on a diet eating when you are not hungry just seems counter intuitive, but I have learned getting over hungry can bite me in the butt. Good going for not going crazy at dinner, I try to have little healthy snacks between meals so I don’t get overly hungry! Keep up the great work!
