Overview of some popular diets

While surfing the net, I came across a site called World’s Healthiest Foods. They have three main sections: eating healthy, cooking healthy, and feeling great.

They have done an overview of 11 popular diets. Three of these so called diets I’ve never heard of:

  1. Ayurvedic Diet
  2. Blood-type Diet
  3. Macrobiotic Diet

This just shows me, there is tons of money to be made in the weight loss field and there are lots of people cashing in on it. If people would just quit looking for short cuts for weight loss and concentrate on healthy eating, and exercise, there would be a lot less scammers getting rich on us wanna-be thinner folks.

I just keep telling myself” less is more.” As I tried to explain what that meant to me…it sounded dumber than a box of rocks so I just erased it. I think we all can relate “less is more” differently in our lives.

This weight loss journal is really more than just about weight loss to me. Sharing my thoughts, and feelings with others, hoping I can make a positive impact on just one person…it makes this all worthwhile.
