November is Diabetes Month

I’m sitting here drinking my greeen tea and doing so research. After reading about diabetes
I was surprised to see there are lots of complications that can go with it.

When my daughter was real young (about 3), she was a borderline diabetic. She is 33 now, so I don’t remember exactly all I had to do to keep it in check. She doesn’t have diabetes at this point in her life..and she’s thin as a rail.

As I sit here and reflect back on my younger years, I remember when I use to drink milk shakes to try and gain weight because I was way too thin. I don’t actually remember when I slipped the other way.

With everything I read, I know that staying active and exercising is the key to good health. Along with healthy eating.

Here I go again…off for my walk.
