Since I have renewed my weight loss efforts two weeks ago, I have successfully lost six pounds. I am still as committed to winning this weight loss battle. These are the things I’ve done in the past two weeks to lose six pounds:
1. I have been working 3 days a week cutting grass with a push mower for my husband’s lawn service . (4-6 hours each day)
2. I have been drinking approximately 10 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.
3. I am religiously keeping a journal of all my activities as well as what and when I eat.
4. I have switched to low fat foods as well as reducing my carbs to approximately 15 grams or less per meal. I’m eating more fish and chicken while reducing my intake of red meat. ( I also kicked bread to the curb) I now snack on fruit such as watermelon and fresh strawberries. (no more hershey bars or gharedelli candy)
5. Working out at the gym 3 days a week. (I’m up to 45 minutes now) I’ve also started using some of the weight machines.
6. I’ve changed my sleeping habits. I’ve been turning the tv off by 11:00 pm instead of staying up half the night. (my worst snacking use to start after the 10:00 pm news)

These are the things that are working for me. Having realistic short term and long term weight loss goals are also helping me. Hopefully you can incorporate some of them into your life and have success as well.
It’s time for me to get ready to go work in the gift shop at the hospital. I enjoy the people I work with and also the customers. God has blessed me so so much!!!!!!

6 pounds in 2 weeks is awesome! Yay for you! I’m trying to lose about 30 pounds….I’m bad about staying up all night too, so I’m trying to go to bed earlier too. Good Luck!
Kelly,
Thanks for the encouragement. I can’t wait until I can say I’m trying to lose 30 pounds. Wishing you the best of luck with your weight loss.
Stay positive and don’t give up! I think that just avoiding those late night snacks will easily help you throw off quite a few pounds. I’ve always struggled with those late night cravings, but recently I’ve shifted most of my eating to be earlier in the day, so I have time to burn it all off before I go to bed.
Congrats on your success so far
Hey Chris good job.
I am trying to shed 6 pounds in two weeks and knowing that somebody else is doing it and achieving is a lot of encouragement. Keep it up. xP
I also lost 7 pounds in just 15 days. I kept myself active and also checked the habit of eating out. I drink almost 10-12 glasses of water. This really helps me a lot. However, a brisk walk in the morning or evening time provides good result in your weight loss program.
You are doing a great job keep to it. Sometimes scheduling, committment to low fat diet, and working out are great. the water intake should be 1/2 your body’s weight= how many ounces per day you should be drinking. I have been successful myself but had a little help, it was a pollen capsule. I took two in the a.m. and got rid of the extra waste laying inside me. I have now gone from size 18 to two and love that my skin’s elasticity is not flabby at all and I never lost in the areas that I preferred keeping. Because of all natural ingredients , bee pollen , lotus seed, wolfberry fruit, and Chinese Yam, I decided I needed a little more help or I would be dieting for a long time.
Great job!

well done.heres a trick that MMA fighters use.say you do 3 days weights a week those days you up your carbs lower your fat you gota train hard though so your body uses the carbs and doesnt store it as fat.then the rest the time you up your protien and fat and lower the carbs.ideally doing cardio at the same time.good fats not sugery fats etc.
fat aint bad ideally we want our bodies to use it as its main energy but carbs get used 1st.hope i`ve helped in anyway.keep it going. hit my blog for training tips and diet tips.
Hey you have changed from a pessimist into an optimist, meaning you know now how to loss weight as before you just thought about it.
Keep thinking you will lose weight and you will (optimiss )
If you give up ( pessimiss )
Optimiss never gives up, if you get knocked down pick your self up and start again,
There is evidence to show that spices, especially hot chilli, hot curries can raise the metabolic rate by up to 50% for up to 3 hours after you’ve eaten a spicy or hot curry meal.
Chilli’s are easy to grow, get your husband to plant some and start losing more weight while you enjoy a meal.
Eating and burning off the calores at the same time, got to be good…
Keep at it, take care
Ken.
