That was still OK I thought. BUT the rep who claimed she was a former client....yea right. She was GORGEROUS and thin....she pulls out this very out of focus upper body photo that was supposed to be her before LA weight loss. uh, huh, right. Hell, that could have been me in the photo is was so fuzzy. Then....after a few weeks when I was not losing weight very fast I actually had a woman tell me (and mind you I have a degree in biology) that the reason I had not lost 3 pounds that week was because I had eaten 1/4 cup of corn folllowed by a half a baked potato the next day!!! Huh??? And even better she explained that all of my fat cells would TURN INTO muscle cells. I laughed and explained that they were two very different types of cells and they can not magically "turn into" something else. She said yes they did and that I did not know what I was talking about!!!! When they finally discovered that I was not going to buy into their bull crap nor was I going to buy their food, they stopped being supportive of me. Personally, I think the program CAN work for you but you must have a very strong sense of will power. I do not think this program is good for the average person. So I assume that they were given the option to either close, or whoever owned the franchise (I think they're franchises?) could change the name to something different. They had to get rid of all LA Weight Loss products, and take down anything that had the name on it. Definitely interesting!
