E. Washington LA Weight Loss Centers ARE Closing
I was informed today by a very reliable source that the Eastern Washington LA Weight Loss Centers ARE closing. I was not given a specific date. I understand that normally they do not let their clients know when they are closing.
In the past, it was almost impossible to get a refund from LA Weight Loss Centers. Due to lawsuits filed in the past and the most recent one being filed against this company in Oregon, I was told, it is now relatively easy to get a refund. You can call on the phone and get your money back. They won’t ask you for a detailed explanation.
Anyone know the date for these closings?

I live in PA I was thinking that they now are under the name of Pure Weight Loss Center. I could be wrong since they seem to still have LA Weight Loss centers still open. It’s just the ads on TV look exactly the same.

Here in Dallas they’ve already changed their name to Pure Weight Loss Centers. They’ve even closed a center in one of the most exclusive parts of town. I’ve used the program and it works, but it is crazy expensive and some counselors are excellent, but you have to watch out for the hustlers. If you’re not careful you’ll leave with three months supply of a product every third visit!

Pure Weight Loss will officially close its doors for the last time on January 4th, 2007. All centers from within the continental United States will be closed for good. I was a Center Manager for one of the Virginian Stores and we were told via teleconference today at 12.30pm.

I found out just today when I called there customer service all centers are closing 4 Jan 2007. I order merchandise almost a month ago and still have not received it and there customer service doesn’t know any thing and neither does there main office. I see why they are closing.{sorry service}

I also recently order over $700.00 of extended weeks and LA Lites. I have no way in receiving credit or money back. I am working with CARE CREDIT to see if anything can be done.

I went in on a Thursday in January 2008 and found out that our centers here in Omaha, Nebraska were closing the next day and that there would be one person there for only a few hours to get products that we had coming to us. The staff didn’t know anything, why they were closing. These hours were not convenient for those who work. So I didn’t get my last two boxes. I filled out the paper work to get my credit and mailed it certified mail to a local address. The form stated that it would take 6-8 weeks and I still haven’t received my money 6 months later. I’m not made of money! I’m truly disappointment in the company and how they treated there staff and their clients. I don’t know who to contact to try to get my money. I know that I’m not the only one. People has spent thousands of dollars with this company and they just up and disappeared with no direction. It is all frustrating!!
