Donut Diet

Today is a bad day for me. I skipped the gym and ate donuts. My son came home to visit, so I went to the bakery this morning. The donuts all looked so good…and that smell……yummm!! I had such a sugar high and then…….boom ……that big drop…..I’m ready for a nap. This shows me how much better I feel when I eat right and exercise. Tomorrow I’ll get back on track.

We are suppose to be getting 3-6 inches of snow. Since my husband does uses the snow blower, out of the following calorie burners, I’ll just be doing the first two.
Typical calories burned in 30 minutes:

  2. sitting quietly 40
  3. watering lawn or garden 61
  4. mowing lawn (riding)101
  5. trimming shrubs (power) 142
  6. raking 162
  7. bagging leaves 162
  8. weeding 182
  9. mowing lawn (push mower) 243
  10. shoveling snow 243
  11. shoveling heavy snow 364
