Burning off some calories
Well, I’m so darn sore today. I helped my husband again with his lawn service the last two days. I’m aching all over. The one was a new yard, and I picked up sticks, broken glass, and various junk out of that huge yard for over 2 and half hours. The back of my legs feel like someone hit me with a stick.
The good news is, I got on the scale and I’ve lost 2 pounds since I reported that awful weight gain. I feel lifted and ready to continue. The comments from readers is so motivating. I’m going to get on this life changing mode full force. I’ve decided to challenge myself to losing pounds in May. When I accomplish that, I am buying myself some flowers.
Today, I’m helping my husband remove some sod in our yard so we can put in our gazebo. I know that has to be a real calorie burner. I’m just hoping I don’t get too many blisters. It’s been a lot of years since I’ve actually hard to do such physical labor. I carried mail for years and years, but I don’t think the two can really be compared.
Last night for snack, instead of eating my spice drops or pie, I ate sugar free bread and butter pickles. Zero calories…whooppeeeee!!! I can do it…I know I can…I know I can.
Well, as they say, it’s time for me to head off to the salt mines. Working off some more weight. Yeaaaaaaaa
