I find myself being a victim of the night time munchies. I’ll catch myself snacking without even realizing it. This is my biggest downfall in my weight loss journey.
The late night munchies may be a result of:

  • undereating at breakfast/or lunch
  • emotional eating
  • fatigue
  • normal hunger pains

Here are a few tips to help:

  • consume adequate calories at breakfast and lunch
  • incorporate snacks
  • honor your hunger
  • set late-night snack times

I am going to try these tips and see if it helps. I’m glad I have started to write a food journal…it has made me so aware of my eating habits.
