OAtmeal works well
I also like veggies eaten with protien it can be meat cheese or beans
I enjoy oatmeal too. I know I'll never try bison/buffalo. My parents were out west once and they ate a buffalo burger. She told me it was dry. I've tried tofu and don't care for that stuf either.
I don't eat many raw vegetables but I like them stir fried.
This is a great list! I have to say that edamame, tofu and apples all work for me (I'm a vegetarian). These are great snacks, especially when you are on a weight loss journey. I'm glad I found your blog...great info!
My understanding is that you have to eat more to raise your metabolism.
It's counter-intuitive when trying to lose weight, but I guess it makes sense that when being supplied few calories regularly, your body will try to use them more efficiently (presumably thinking you're entering a period of famine / starvation).
With a lowered metabolism your body will also use muscle for fuel and try to save the stores of fat.
Of course it's a good idea to raise the calorie intake gradually and compensate with regular exercise.
yes, the myth is that you must eat less to lose weight when in fact eating right is crucial to weight loss.
thank you for the cool list.
That is a great list of foods you mentioned. I totally agree with you, you shouldn't have to starve yourself to lose weight and you don't have to.
Hello, This is Mary
I am 36 years old with 2 toddlers. My youngest just started day care last week- which still feels a little strange. I haven't had this much time to myself in years. First thing I want to do is lose the extra pounds I put on during the last pregnancy. One of the girls next door has suggested I join her walking group two days a week. After my first pregnancy I lost around 35 pounds using the Herbalife products, but when I called the man that sold them to me three years ago he told me this week he doesn't sell them anymore. He told me to look on the internet. It's disappointing because he was really nice and he called me regularly to make sure I was using their products correctly. It was nice to have someone checking in with me every week to see how I was and it kept me motivated.
I searched on the internet for someone that sells Herbalife in New Jersey. I found many websites but I don't want
just to buy the products, I want to find someone trustworthy that sells the products so I can also meet them and get started again.
Could anybody here recommend someone in New Brunswick?.
Thanks, Mary
