Weight Loss Product: Alli...How popular is it?

Yesterday when I was shopping for my trip I notice the weight loss product Alli is now priced at $49.00. The help book that goes with it is in the clearance aisle and it is on sale for $1.00.

When Alli first went on the market at our Walmart's it cost $69.00. I can't remember what the price of the book was that goes with it. It doesn't seem like it has been on the market that long.

I'm thinking the side effects would prevent a person from buying a second bottle. Guess we'll just wait and watch for that next miracle weight loss product to hit the market.

I am not sure I want to try it.

I think I will use oatmeal, baby carrots, and sugar free caffine free drinks to fill me up.
There so many other things I could spend $50 on.

I'm in agreement with you there. I'm going to add oatmeal to my diet. It's been quite a while since I've had any and I really like it.

Most reviews or people I have talked to that have used Alli say it doesn't really work that great. Plus some of them have had greasy
bowel movements. That's just one of the side effects.

I've noticed the local stores around me that sell this have dropped the price as well. A lot of the pharmacists are not recommending it. Hopefully this is a turning point and people are realizing that a pill isn't the solution for weightloss.

By the way Chris I'm a long time reader but this is my first time commenting. Keep up the battle!

Thanks for the encouragement Steve. Since I've retired...I find this weight loss battle harder than any of those 12 hour days I use to have when I worked.

I used it for about 2 weeks then had to stop because of an unrelated illness. I lost about 6 pounds in total and it wasn't really that bad. But those side effects get really old after a while and you just don't feel like dealing with it.

If you stick to it and eat right you can stick to it and loose weight but I think for someone with more then 50 pounds to loose it's just to much to deal with on the side effects end of it.
