Burned off Over 550 Calories
Well, after two hours of working outside, I decided I needed a break. We were planting our new fruit trees until the concrete truck arrived. Holy Moly, is that HARD WORK. I was right in the midst of it all….shoveling, scooping, and smoothing it off. The muscles in my arms and legs feel like jelly. I can sure feel it in my shoulders as well. I went to Caloriesperhour and plotted my figures in a came up with a whopping 557 calories burned.
Caloriesperhour has a great article on the importance of drinking water. I need to get off the diet coke. I know drinking water helps your body burn fat which equals…weight loss!!!!
Long enough break for me, better go see what I can do now to help my husband.

Just popped in to check out your blog. It’s really pretty and interesting too!
I used to count calories. But it didn’t help. I found that aerobics, calorie counting, eating low calories, and generally listening to the accepted wisdom on weight loss generated ZERO results for me. Plus, it’s depressing to find out that all that work you did only burnt XX calories! Although, 550 is a pretty high number. I wish you the best!
