Yikes....I'm A Total Snack Hound

I realize now why I quit keeping a journal of everything I eat. I am a total snack hound. I started keeping track yesterday and am surprised at all the snacking I did. I know I didn't write down EVERYTHING. My eating habits have digressed into the pool of poor eating. It happened so slowly. It's like that old saying..you can't see the forrest through the trees. I didn't realize I had gotten so bad.

Today, it's starting out differently. I had my cup of green tea and a bowl of Quaker Oatmeal (not instant). I tossed out my spice drops and M+M's. My snacking today is going to be sugar free jello.

It's been raining and we couldn't cut any grass this morning. I've got my volunteer work from 11-2. I'm hoping it clears off after that. We have another new lawn customer who only lifes a block from our home. I would like to get her lawn done today. We are finally caught up and I'd like to keep it that way.

I've decided I'm going to set weekly goals for myself. I need to set realistic goals. This weight loss is important to me. I have to quit procrastinating. I'll be working on them the next few days. I'll share them when I'm done.

Suggestions anyone?

I am a snack hound too. I also have to journal.
I keep a lot of veggies on hand then dice up half an apple and add 1/4th cup of beans.
I make my own calorie free dressing. I then eat the other half of the apple though.
I also freeze 8 ounce yogurts. They take forever to eat.
Sugar free gum is also a fave. They are only 5 calories per piece.
I make open face sandwiches with light bread.
Fat free cream cheese mixed with salsa can be a nice dip for baby carrots or celery.
I also use calculators to average the calories of an m&M. I had two peanut m&m’s yesterday.

Wow, you have will power...2 M+M's...I don't think I could do that. It's better I bought some strawberry sorbet. Only 125 calories in a serving. How long can you leave yogurts frozen?
Thanks for sharing with me, the things that have helped you.
