Getting in shape landscaping ....ouchie!!!
It's amazing the different muscles I used yesterday landscaping a customer's garden area around their house. My back of my legs, my shoulders, and my arms are killing me. This has to be what if feels like getting hit by a Mac truck.
Because they only wanted use to work on the garden area, I only got in a little over 8,000 steps yesterday. I figure I burned off quite a few calories swinging that scicle and cutting tree limbs. I don't know about losing weight with all that work, but I had to do something for building muscles.
When we got home I hit the shower after taking some aspirins. I listened to the answering machine, one of our customers wants her grass cut today. I just sighed....thinking....tomorrow's a new day. I'll be ok.
Losing weight isn't easy....but being persistance pays off.
Husband is hitching up the lawn equipment to the truck...time for me to go. Grabbing my pedometer and my ice tea heading for the door.

I am so proud of you :-)
all that work must be paying off in health :-)
You are doing so well Chris. Your line of work is so physical and challenging and your step count is brilliant. I think that with the lifting and pushing of equipment you will be building some lovely muscles under your skin and as you get smaller they are going to pop out at you and say hello.
Keep it going and aim for that 10,000 a day and you will see results :D
I wasn't able to match your 30,000 step the other day...but did it today. Yippee. It took me mowing 5 lawns with my husband and walking the dog twice to reach it. I had to do it at least once. :)
