Calories in corn beef?

Happy St. Patricks day to everyone. We are quite Irish here and had our traditional corn beef and cabbage for supper. I didn't even look up the calorie content in the corn beef. It has to be my favorite type meat. My sister really loves it too.

My sister's visit is going great!! Time is going by so fast though. Even though we got lost when we left O"Hare airport....I was smart today and printed the directions so we won't get lost next week when we take her back.

I've been trying to drink more water the last two days. I still haven't gotten on the scale. My sister is so thin. I've been monitoring her the last two days..........geesh...all she does is drink water and coffee. She only eats at supper time. I just don't have that kind of will power. She says she never gets hungry. I was I could be that fortunate.

Time to go visit some more. Happy St Pats Day!!!!!!!

Hi ya chicky. It is so good your Sister's visit is going well. And don't worry about what she eats (or doesn't) you will get to your goal in your own time. And at the end of it you will be happy, healthy, and still able to eat treats from time to time and really enjoy life. I am not sure I could stand living off coffee and water alone. Or in my case d.coke and water.

Thanks for the lovely comment you wrote about me the other day. That is so sweet. And putting myself first has been the best thing that I could have done. Yes I have tried to manage all the other stuff around it but it got to a stage where I had to go it, or sink into a depression of sorts. I could feel it was beginning to happen and now it doesn't at all. I still get cranky at myself from time to time, I think we all do, but I think I have learned that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and I just have to work at making the tunnel as short as I can.

I hope you have a great week :D

Hi. I found your blog when I googled weightloss blog. I just wanted to mention that your sister probably looks older than you because she doesn't eat properly. It's not healthy to starve yourself. Coffee dehydrates the body. Keep up the healthy eating and positive attitude....I've found that it's quantity that makes the difference. Eat half of whatever you would normally eat and if you're still hungry, fill yourself up with veggies. Good luck!

I would not be jealous of someone who survives on coffee and water and only a small meal a day. I wouldn’t call that willpower. I’d call that an eating disorder. I also have to agree that eating like that will make you look a lot older.
I feel so bad for your sister.

Will power is overrated.
I never maintaineed for 5 months straight before. I got rid of the word will power and stopped depriving myself. I know there will be times I will gain like if I decide to have another child.
I eat mini meals all the time. I lost well over 100 pounds. I eat a lot of bulky low calorie foods and little treats like choclolte or pizza.

Now my husband only eats when he’s hungry but he can eat a lot more calories than I can. He’s very tall.
