Husband is faltering on his weight loss journey
He was so gung go about losing weight. I took his snacks away from around his chair and gave 3 sacks of food away. It seems to be to no avail though. He lasted about 2 days of watching what he is eating…snackwise that is. I keep telling him, you aren’t going to lose weight that way. He just says, I’m doing better than I was. That statement is true but it seems he is trading one thing for another.
When we went the gym two days ago, he spent more time visiting than he did working out. He did the same thing at swimming. Yesterday he only worked out less than a half hour and only swam 15 minutes. I noticed this morning, during the night he got up and ate a chunk of cheese, he left the wrapper sitting on the kitchen counter.
I can’t get him to drink enough water. I’m lucky to get him drink two small bottles. You know the old saying, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink it. All I can do is keep trying.
I’m heading off to go swimming.

Thanks for the encouragement Kat. I’m hope you are right. I decided I’m not bugging him about going to the gym anymore. Hoping he will just follow my example. He did show up and hour after I got there today. I’m hoping that’s a good sign.
