Adjusting my weight loss schedule
Now that I am using the same technique I did to accomplish my goals, I’ve already had to make an adjustment for today. I laughed to myself when I woke up at 8:00 am, knowing I had missed the timeframe I had given myself to go swimming. Before, I would have just told myself, it’s too late, just forget it….but now….no way. This weight loss journey is too important. I always took great pride in my work and had great work ethics. I’m just changing the mode in which I need to be that same person.
They have senior swimming from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. I’ll be going to that session. The gym went well for me today. Walked 4 and half miles on a 6.0 incline and did the rowing machine for 11 minutes….total of 660 calories.
My husband worked out too. His blood pressure is still too high in the morning. I’m going to give him another week and send him back to the doctor if it doesn’t come down. He’s my problem child all right. He sure hates drinking water. I’m trying to make it fun for him though, giving him little rewards when he does what he’s suppose to. I found him sneaking in the peanuts last night after he had already had a few cheese nips. I told him it was ok this time since it was super bowl night. I let him know he wasn’t going to be making a habit of all that snacking again. He just smiled.
