Selecting the right running shoe

I'm looking forward to doing some jogging on our nature trail when the weather gets better. Right now I'm on the treadmill watching Oprah and The View along with my Ipod playing in one ear. The music makes the jogging easier.

I remember when I first started using the treadmill, I bought so many different pairs of shoes. I finally found a pair that was comfortable with great cushioning and didn't give me blisters. It's a man's shoe...MacGregor. I don't really care...they feel good and that's what is important. When I was young, I'm sure I wouldn't have worn them for the life of me. I would have prefered sore feet and blisters.

I found a website that tells you how to select shoes. I'm going to give myself the wet foot test. At age 55, I'm going to find out what kind of feet I have. I must say, that sure sounds funny.
