Losing weight----missing my husband
The two things that are always in my mind is this weight loss and my husband. He left on January 9th, (my birthday) to help his sister mover from San Diego to Florida, and I sure do miss him. 12 days until he gets home. Unlike the weight, I don't miss a pound of that I've lost.
Although this new digital scale I have shows I weigh 5 more pounds than my old one, it just means I must have weighed 5 more pounds when I started this weight lose journey. I'm not going to be discouraged. I used my exercise bike and my stair stepper tonight. It had been so long since I've used my own equipment...the poor stair stepper had this horrible squeak as I stepped down with my left foot.(wishing my husband was home..I know he'd fix that noise.)
Writing down everything I do and everything I eat, has really helped me to see a pattern in my life. I can see that after 7:00 pm, I start my snacking. Instead of eating candy tonight, I fixed myself a serving of oatmeal. This was the first day I've drank 3 quarts of water in quite awhile. I think that helped too.
Well, it's late...I'm off to bed. One day closer to Alex being home, as well as a day closer to my weight lose goal.
