Great site for Weight loss tips and Success Stories

There is a site called smallsteps.gov. They have 119 tips listed as small steps we can take to losing weight. I've printed them out. Of course, I realize I can't apply all of them to my life...but there are lots I can. I'm real glad the first one (Walk to work) isn't applicable....I love retirement!!!

They have four steps listed to the weight loss process:
Step one: Get the facts. They state how important it is to learn the facts about health, nutrition, and physical activity. They also have a activity tracker..I signed up for that today. Free of course. On this page they list:
* The issues
* The consequences
* The Resources
* Take small steps today (119 of them)
Step two: Eat better. I think we all know by eating better and losing weight, we can prevent a multitude of diseases. On this page they list:
* Goals
* Resources
* Choices
* Recipes
* Take small steps today
Step three: Get Active. They offer tools that make it easy to integrate activity into our lives to reach our weight loss goals. On this page they list:
* Goals
* Resources
* Choices
* Take small steps today
Step four: Learn more. They have additional sites listed to help with weight loss.
On this page they list:
* Resources
* Organizations
* Additional Reading
* A Parents Guide (New)
* Link to small steps

I haven't been able to go through all the information that is available at this site. I found those 4 success stories very motivating. I need to set more realistic goals for this weight loss process. I just get so impatient, it just makes me want to through the towel in sometimes.

I'm going to finish my cup of green tea and mom and I are off shopping.
