Are you a victim of the late night munchies?
I find myself being a victim of the night time munchies. I’ll catch myself snacking without even realizing it. This is my biggest downfall in my weight loss journey.
The late night munchies may be a result of:
- undereating at breakfast/or lunch
- emotional eating
- fatigue
- normal hunger pains
Here are a few tips to help:
- consume adequate calories at breakfast and lunch
- incorporate snacks
- honor your hunger
- set late-night snack times
I am going to try these tips and see if it helps. I’m glad I have started to write a food journal…it has made me so aware of my eating habits.
